Our duplicate variant version price test creates duplicate product variants to implement A/B testing. By default, these test variants are assigned the SKU ABCOVERT to help users easily identify them.
Can I Change or Remove the SKU?
Yes! If you need to update or remove the SKU for any reason—such as integrating with a third-party app or aligning with your internal SOP—it is completely fine. Modifying or deleting the SKU will not impact the test or its results.
How Do I Update the SKU?
You can manually change the SKU in your Shopify product settings or via bulk edit tools. If you’re using third-party inventory or order management apps that rely on specific SKU formats, feel free to adjust the test variant SKU accordingly.
