When setting up a URL redirect test in ABConvert, you may see the Create test button greyed out without any visible error. This usually means one or more required fields are incomplete or invalid.

This guide helps you quickly identify and fix the issue so you can launch your test.

1. Your test name is empty

You must enter a test name before you can continue.

Fix: Add a name in the Name field.

2. Your trigger condition is missing or invalid

A. The trigger condition is empty

You must add at least one trigger rule.

B. The trigger path is not a valid relative path

Your trigger condition is not a valid relative path.

What is a valid relative path?

A valid relative path must start with a slash and match your storefront URL structure.

Example

If your product URL is:

https://my-dev-store.myshopify.com/products/the-3p-fulfilled-snowboard

Your trigger condition should be:

/products/the-3p-fulfilled-snowboard

3. Your test group settings are incomplete

The Create test button will remain disabled if any test group contains invalid or missing fields.

A. A test group name is missing

B. A test group URL is empty

C. A test group URL is not a valid relative path

D. Percentages do not add up to 100%

4. Audience targeting is not fully configured

If you select Yes for “Only run in specific countries” but do not choose any countries, the test cannot be created.

Fix: Select at least one country in the dropdown.
