Better-managing test statuses and knowing when to use different settings will make A/B testing even more efficient and convenient.

This article will explain:

  1. How to update a test’s status.

  2. The difference between the options: Stop , Pause , and Delete experiments.

Stop or Delete an Experiment

  • Deleted tests will first be stopped and then removed from Your Tests. You cannot view the analytics of these tests after it is deleted.

  • Stopped tests will remain on the list of Your Tests. You can still view the analytics of stopped tests and duplicate these test for future use.

You can use ... or the multi-select tool to Stop or Delete one or more experiments:

  1. Check the boxes of the tests you want to change.

  2. Select the option you want on the action bar below and confirm details in the pop-up.

Pause an Experiment

Only URL redirect, template, and theme test can be paused. When the experiment is paused, no new customer data will enter the analytics.

  1. To pause a test: Click on the ... , and select Pause.

  2. To resume a test: Click on the ... , and select Resume.
