When launching a price test with ABConvert, it’s essential to make sure test prices appear correctly across your storefront. This guide walks you through a QA checklist to verify that prices are updating as expected, both visually and functionally, on different devices.

Step 1: Review price displays across your store

Check that the test product prices appear correctly on all relevant storefront sections.

  1. Visit your store in both desktop and mobile view.

  2. Confirm that prices display as expected in these locations:

    • Homepage

    • Collection pages

    • Quick add modals

    • Search bar dropdown

    • Search results page

    • Product page

    • Recommended items on product page

    • Side cart upsells

    • Cart page

    • Wishlist or favorites pages

    • Any third-party sections or apps that show product cards

💡 Tip: Use your browser’s mobile preview tool or your actual mobile device for more accurate results.

Step 2: Add test products to cart and check prices

Test the pricing flow by adding items from multiple entry points.

  1. Add the test product to cart from:

    • A product page

    • A quick add modal

    • A collection page

    • Any upsell or recommended section

  2. Go to the cart page and verify the correct price is shown.

  3. Proceed to checkout and confirm that the price is correct there too.
