Why should I delete my shipping rate

When setting up a shipping rate, you might see a message during the final review asking you to delete your shipping rate.

This is because Shopify's rate display rule will only show the rate with the cheapest price if there are multiple rates with the same name.

This can cause issues when running a shipping test, as your test rate may not be displayed properly.

To avoid this issue, we suggest deleting the rate during the test period and restoring it once the test is complete (you can do this using our feature or manually).

Why isn’t my shipping rates calculated correctly when applying discounts in checkout?

If you’re noticing that shipping rates aren’t calculated correctly when a discount code is applied at checkout, you’re not alone, and it’s not a bug.

This happens because our script cannot run on the Shopify checkout page, due to platform limitations. As a result, manually entered discount codes at checkout won’t be recognized by our shipping script.

To ensure discounts are applied properly during a shipping test, make sure any discounts are automatically applied before checkout (e.g., via Shopify’s automatic discount settings or our app’s configuration). This way, the shipping script can calculate rates correctly.
