Step 1 - Complete theme check
For ABConvert 1.0 user
To ensure your store has no issue running price tests, all stores are reuquired to complete theme check before start price testing.
The theme check might take a while, but it is worthy because it will make your test 100% accurate. During the process we will check your theme as well as the third party apps you are using.
If you have already completed your theme check, then you can skip this part.
For those we haven't requested the theme check, simply go to "Get started" page, and request for theme check.
For ABConvert 2.0 user
Theme check will no longer block you. We still offer theme check service to ensure 100% accuracy in your theme, but meanwhile you can start creating test, and set to automatically launch after theme check done!
To request theme check, you have 2 options,
Request at get started page directly
Create a price test directly, in the final step, you'll see the theme check steps, with a checkbox option to automatically launch test after theme check completed
If checked, we'll launch this test automatically when theme check is completed, and notify you via email.
If not checked, we'll set this test status to draft when theme check is completed, and notify you via email. You can come back and preview or launch test at any time!
After requesting theme check, you can see the saved test status is set as Awaiting theme check. Also there will be a status box on your dashboard for you to follow!
When theme check is done, you'll see the status updated in your dashboard and receive an email notification from us.
If you set test to automatically launched, it will go active as soon as theme check completed. If you set test to not launched automatically, it will be set to draft status after theme check completed.
How long does a Theme Check take?
The batch process time of theme check is from 10 AM to 2 PM (Paris time UTC+1) on weekdays.
Standard timeline
Typically, the theme check will be completed within 1β2 business days. This is a manual process, and each store is entitled to one theme check quota by default.
Custom requirements
If your theme has unsupported patterns or apps which require additional modifications to work properly with ABConvert, your request will be transitioned to our Custom Requirement Workflow. For details on how we handle these custom requirements and estimated timelines, please refer to the section below.
Custom requirement workflow
Custom requirement workflow
Step 1: Standard theme check process
It starts when you submit your theme check request. Typically, the standard flow takes 1-2 business days to complete.
Step 2: Transition to dev review
If our team spots unsupported patterns or apps during the initial check, your request will be transitioned to our Custom Requirement Workflow. We will notify you that it is no longer a standard check, and our Dev team will take over to audit feasibility (ETA: 1-2 business days).
Step 3: If the custom integration is approved β
Support will reach out with an estimated timeline. The work will be scheduled for 1 development cycle (up to 10 business days), leading to a completed theme check.
Step 4: If the custom integration is rejected β
Support will provide you with developer resources so you can implement the required changes on your end.
If you have a developer who can handle the integration using our API, the theme check will be completed upon your implementation.
If you do not have a developer, please reach out to our Support team. Weβd be happy to discuss your specific goals to see if there's a workaround.
