For some merchants, they might want to run the price test only in selected country such as US.

This will be a good strategy if the store is selling multiple markets and want to observe the data by country.

Hence, ABConvert also have the feature to support this scenario.

In this article, we will guide you on how to run a price test in the selected countries.

How to set up

When you are creating a price test, you can find the settings in the step that you set your traffic splitting.

You can select the country you want to run your test in.

After you select countries and create the test, whenever a visitor comes in they will be shown only the origin price if they are not in the selected countries.

How to preview

After you create the test, you can find your test in the dashboard as usual.

Click the link to enter the "Analytics" page, and click "Get preview url".

Select the version you want to preview, and you will see the different price.

To check it further, you can use VPN if you are not in the selected countries. And open incognito and visit your store. You will find the test running using then.

If you want to see different prices with VPN, you need to close the incognito browser to make sure you won't be recognized by our app.

How to interpret the result

When you have selected countries to only run the test in, we will exclude the none selected countries data in our analytics, and you can view the data as usual.
